Thank you for your interest in my newborn sessions. Newborns are one of my favorite sessions. The excitement of new parents, the sweet new and tiny little features, and the once in a lifetime opportunity to capture these memories are just a few reasons why I love newborns. Each newborn session is styled with colors, accessories and props you will love! I typically take the photos between 10-14 days old. Contact me as soon as you know you would like me to photograph your new little one and I will get you on the schedule. We can pick a date and adjust it as needed. The sooner you book the better. $100 deposit/retainer fee is due at booking to hold your date.
What to expect- Sessions usually last approximately 2-3 hours. So keep this in mind. Patience is key! Most of the images I will take work best if baby is in a deep sleep. I suggest you feed the baby well, before heading to the studio. If you need to, you can feed them again when you first get to the studio to ensure they are super sleepy. If parents or siblings will be in the photos, keep clothing simple and neutral. If you would like, throw in a bit of color but try to steer away from busy pattern and logos. Clean, classic and simple is best!
If there is something sentimental or a special item you would like included please feel free to bring it along. If your baby is a rainbow baby and would like something rainbow related in the photos, please make me aware of that before your session. If you are bringing other children along, you may want to have dad take them home or grandpa and grandma pick them up after the family photos are complete. Little ones are always welcome to stay, but keep in mind the length of the session. I am so excited to photograph your sweet little addition!!!

Thank you for your interest in my milestone sessions. Milestones are those important sessions where you want to capture your child at a certain age. Most people do milestone sessions for 6, 9 and 12 months and then each year as their children grow.

Thank you for your interest in my family sessions. Family sessions are one of the most important session you will want captured. Photographs of your family that you can pass on to your child and they can pass on to their children are so priceless! I am the youngest of 11 children and unfortunately I don’t have many pictures of me as a child or pictures of me with my parents and family as a child. These pictures are so important! Pricing is based on a small family, parents and children. If you are interested in a larger family with adult children and grandchildren, please contact me for pricing.
I do both studio and outdoor sessions. I am open to going anywhere! There is a cost for travel if it is over 30 minutes from Westphalia. But I love to check out new places to shoot. I really want to capture images that capture you as a family! Is there a family farm you grew up on that is special to you? A place you have vacationed or spent time as a family that is special? You are so busy enjoying the day, talking with friends and relatives you haven’t seen in years, and dancing the night away! So many of those details that you worked so hard on get missed if you don’t have a professional photographer there to capture it all! I capture the portraits, the posed shots, the ceremony and the reception. But I also capture so much more. I capture the details that you put so much time into, grandma in the corner who is teary eyed as she gets a glimpse of her granddaughter all grown up.
