Thank you for considering me to photograph your newborn! Newborn sessions are truly special to me. I love capturing the excitement of new parents, the tiny details of a newborn, and the opportunity to preserve these once-in-a-lifetime memories. Each session is carefully styled with colors, props, and accessories that you'll love. I typically schedule newborn sessions when your baby is between 10-14 days old, as this is when they tend to be sleepiest and most poseable.

If you'd like to book a session, please reach out as soon as you can, and we'll find a date that works. We can always adjust the date if needed, but the sooner you book, the better! A $100 deposit/retainer is required at booking to secure your spot.

What to Expect: Newborn sessions usually last around 2-3 hours, so be prepared for a relaxed but slightly lengthy session. Patience is key! Most of the best shots are taken when baby is in a deep sleep, so I recommend feeding your little one well before coming to the studio. If needed, you can feed them again when you arrive to help ensure they stay sleepy. For family photos, keep clothing simple and neutral. If you'd like to add a pop of color, that's great, but I suggest avoiding busy patterns or logos—clean and classic is always best.

If you have any sentimental items you'd like to include in the photos, feel free to bring them along. If your baby is a rainbow baby and you'd like something special to represent that, just let me know ahead of time. If you're bringing siblings, it might be easier to have someone take them home after the family photos, especially since the session can be long, but they are always welcome to stay.

As the youngest of 11 children, I don’t have many pictures of myself or my family from when I was a child. I realize just how precious and irreplaceable those family photos really are. That's why I feel so passionate about capturing these moments for you.

My pricing is designed for smaller families, including parents and children. If you're interested in a larger family session with adult children or grandchildren, please feel free to reach out to me for specific pricing.

I offer both studio and outdoor sessions, and I'm happy to travel anywhere! If your location is over 30 minutes from Westphalia, there will be a travel fee, but I absolutely love discovering new places to shoot. If there's a family farm or a special vacation spot that holds meaning for you, let me know!
